Full report: Commitment, solidarity, and hope for abandoned puppies

At Pavllove, we have always believed that a simple gesture can transform a life. We see this every day through the admirable work of the Au Bib de Plume association, a team of volunteers who care for abandoned, fragile puppies, sometimes only a few days old.

Our meeting with Audrey Navarro, the president, and Elodie Lagache, a volunteer, was a powerful, human, and moving moment, and that is precisely why we decided to produce a full report, released in several parts on our social media, to highlight their efforts and raise public awareness.

🤱 An essential mission: saving, feeding, and supporting orphaned puppies

The Au Bib de Plume association's mission is to take in puppies that are:

• abandoned,

• removed due to abuse,

• found without a mother,

• or from unwanted litters.

Many arrive unweaned, sometimes hardly a few days old, and must be bottle-fed every 2 to 3 hours, day and night.
During our visit, 13 little puppies were in the middle of bottle-feeding, an exhausting task but one carried out with love and dedication.

🐾 The association's biggest challenges

Through the interviews, several major challenges emerged:

1. Chronic lack of resources

Puppy formula, suitable puppy food (Pavllove now provides it), veterinary care, equipment…
Each puppy represents a significant cost.

2. Fatigue and lack of volunteers

Bottle-feeding requires constant presence. Keeping up this pace at 3:00 AM requires extraordinary courage.

3. Lack of foster families

Great need for families capable of taking in a fragile puppy.

4. The need to raise public awareness

Stopping mass killings of puppies, responsible adoption, abandonment…
This is why we are making our resources available to support them and spread their message.

🎁 Pavllove's support: donations, commitment, presence, and concrete actions

During our meeting, we brought:

• complete survival kits: special puppy food, an additional stock of food adapted for growing puppies;

• a commitment to regularly renew our donations, as much as possible;

• our voluntary presence for future actions.

Our goal is simple: sustainably support those who save lives.

The videos posted on our social media reveal:

• the puppies during bottle-feeding,

• the essential role of foster families,

• testimonials from volunteers,

• the association's urgent needs,

• the strong emotions of this meeting.

The full 16-minute report will also be given to the association so they can use it to raise awareness, collect donations, and find new volunteers.

These questions, filmed during the report, help to understand their daily life:

   Without going into sensitive details, the association explains the general circumstances of abandonment.

4. What is the average cost to save a fragile puppy?
   Between specific food, care, and equipment, each puppy represents a real investment.

5. What are the most useful items for daily needs?
   Milk replacer, premium puppy kibble (Pavllove covers this), blankets, and bottle-feeding supplies.

6. How can the public help you?
