FAQs

The dietary transition is the process of changing a dog's or cat's diet.

This happens when you switch from one brand of kibble to another, or when you change your dog's / cat's type of food: for example, from puppy / kitten food to adult food.

It can also simply involve a change in flavor.

The dietary transition must be carried out slowly and gradually to allow the stomach and intestines to adapt to the new food.

If you change your pet's kibble abruptly, it can cause gastrointestinal issues such as vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, bloating, or abdominal pain.

The duration of the dietary transition depends on your companion's digestive sensitivity, but in general, it is recommended to do it over a period of 7 to 10 days.

Transitioning your cat's or dog's diet should take at least 7 to 10 days.

Mix the new food with the usual food, gradually increasing the proportion of the former.

On the first day, the cat's or dog's bowl should contain at least 80% of the usual food and 20% of the new food.

Then, every 2 days, increase the portion of the new food (60% old kibble - 40% new, then 2 days later 60% new and 40% old, and so on) until Pavllove completely replaces the old food.

You can try our kibble; returns are free if your pet does not like it.
